For the average person, work takes up 8 hours of every weekday.
In a year, that’s about 2,080 hours.
If you’re going to be spending so much of your time “working,” shouldn’t you start finding work that you live for?
That’s what I’m starting to feel. I love my work, and 12+ hour work days go by in flash.
That’s what happens when you work on a startup I guess.
If you don’t work, you’ll die. Or at least, your startup will.
Is it a good idea to subject oneself to this sort of pressure?
If you can take it, then sure.
At the end of the day, just remember what you’re doing it for.
If it’s not making you feel alive, then you’re on the wrong path.
I found that to be a pretty good litmus test.
Find the work that doesn’t feel like work.
